Pear Cake

Pear Cake

Bolo de Peras means in portuguese Pears Cake. It might seems too elaborated, but it's very simple, actually.

Follow our lead, and make an excelent pear cake. That's how it's done:



Ingredients:

  • 4 pears
  • 120g of flour
  • 90g of sugar
  • 6 tablespoons oil
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 to 10g baker powder


Preparation:

Mixture the flour with the sugar. Open a small hole in the middle and join the oil, the milk and the whole eggs. Mix all together carefully and add the baker powder. Heat the oven at 220º. Peel the pears and chop them in slices. Then, put the mixture you did previsously in a 25 cm cake pan, wich should be anointed with butter. Lay the pears on the top. Put in the oven for 30 minutes.

PS: If you want our cake to look better and tastier you should put, 15 minutes before it finishes cooking, a cream made with 50g of     melted butter, 60g of sugar and an egg.
